Hey Presto: Harry Makes Mistakes
- Movie buffs spot continuity errors in Potter film

IT MAY be the film of the moment, but Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone already has movie buffs reeling off the number of mistakes in the film.

So far, eager-eyed fans have notched up 20 mistakes in the film, which have been posted on a fansite, moviemistakes.com. Most of them are continuity errors -mistakes which avid film buffs are always quick to point out.

In one scene, Harry has scratches on his face after a battle with Voldemort. When Professor Dumbledore visits him in hospital, the marks have vanished. Then as if by magic the marks re-appear again, larger than they were originally.

Elsewhere Harry and pals Hermione and Ron sneak past Fluffy, the three-headed guard dog, which slobbers on Ron's shoulder. But, hey presto, seconds later his jumper is completely dry.

Clearly the ability to be in two places at once is something easily mastered at Hogwarts School. For when Harry is shopping for his magic equipment he manages to walk past the same group of witches twice in ten seconds - without changing direction.
