New Hitchcock Movie Planned
- Novice director takes on the master of suspense

AN UNKNOWN British director is to make a new Alfred Hitchcock movie, it was reported at the Cannes Film Festival.

Sylvie Bolioli's company, Polaris Productions, has snapped up the rights to one of Hitch's early novels and is set to begin filming, probably later this year.

Speaking from Cannes, Sir David Puttnam was quick to back Bolioli's exciting scheme. "As a long-time fan of Alfred Hitchcock, I think this is a good suspenseful project," Puttnam said.
