West End Turns Naughty But Nice
- Ute Lemper promises a sexy new show

UTE LEMPER stars in Naughty Baby at the Savoy Theatre from July. Following in the footsteps of Eve Ensler, currently performing her Vagina Monologues at the New Ambassadors Theatre, the acclaimed chanteuse will be the sole performer of her own show.

Naughty Baby's namesake, a catchy little Gershwin number, features amongst the range of Weill, Brel and Gershwin compositions on Lemper's song list. Renowned for solo acts like her Kurt Weill Recital and her Berlin Cabaret Evening, the all singing all dancing German star also has a string of albums to her name. Most recently she recorded the seductive Punishing Kiss in collaboration with dark crooners like Tom Waits and Nick Cave.

But Lemper is no stranger to the West End, and looks to build on the success of her last show at the Queen's, Life's a Swindle. Furthermore she won an Olivier for her role in the original production of Chicago, another raunchy West End show set to run and run.
