Little's Presence Makes it the Royle Court
- TV star 'excited' about first stage outing

RALF LITTLE, who plays Anthony Royle in the hit TV show the Royle Family, can be seen at The Royal Court from May 19. The 21-year-old boyfriend of TV presenter Lisa Rogers makes his stage debut in David Harrower's first play for the Royal Court, Presence.

"I'm very excited about it," said Little, who will be performing on stage for the first time. His TV appearances include roles in contemporary dramas like The Ward, Sloogers, Heartbeat and Bostock's Cup. In contrast Presence is set in the 1960s and tells of a young band leaving Liverpool for Hamburg in search of further fame.

The new play takes inspiration from the adventures of The Beatles. Fans of the band will have to choose between Presence and the musical All You Need Is Love, rumoured to replace Medea at The Queen's Theatre.
