Joan Collins Over The Moon
- Former Dynasty star returns to the West End

JOAN COLLINS is to return to the West End after a ten year break. The still-glamorous Londoner, 68, says she is delighted to be starring opposite Ray Cooney in a new production of Ken Ludwig's Moon over Buffalo this Autumn.

Collins has worked as a writer and model but began acting aged nine and following her 1945 stage debut at the Aldwych theatre became best known for playing Alexis in TV's long running soap, Dynasty. Ray Cooney also started out as a child actor, before writing hits like Run For Your Wife and directing shows such as Children of a Lesser God.

The talented duo are no strangers to the back-stage antics of Moon Over Buffalo, which picked up a Tony nomination following a successful 1995 Broadway run. The show concerns an enthusiastic company of actors, an ambitious production team, and a couple of hasbeens struggling to rekindle their careers by staging Private Lives - the very play whose West End run last wooed Collins to the stage.
