- Atkinson re-unites with Elton for 'Austin Powers' style movie TWO OF Britain's best-loved funnymen have reportedly come up with a cunning plan - a spoof spy film. Rowan Atkinson and Ben Elton, who teamed up for long-running hit BBC series Blackadder, are set to join forces again for the spoof, which is said to be in the vein of Austin Powers. Entitled Johnny English: A Touch Of Weevil, the UKP30 million comedy will take its slant from the bumbling secret agent Atkinson played in the Barclaycard advertisements. "It will be a parody of the spy movie genre in the Austin Powers tradition, but with a British spin," a movie insider said. |
