Hannibal Hungry For More
- Sir Anthony Hopkins in talks to play Lecter for third time

HANNIBAL LECTER, aka Sir Anthony Hopkins, has been given something very tasty to chew on - a UKP13 million offer to star as the evil cannibal for a third time.

The Welsh-born actor, currently starring in the second Lecter film, Hannibal, is negotiating with movie bosses over the part in the film, entitled Red Dragon. Based on the Thomas Harris novel of the same name, Red Dragon is set several years before the first book featuring Hannibal Lecter, Silence of The Lambs.

Should Hopkins choose to accept the appetising offer, it would mean he joins Hollywood's elite 20 million dollar Club, where actors can stipulate their own fee for a role.

Hannibal is to hit UK screens next month.
