Drama To Leave Crowds Speechless
- Mime artists from around the world come to town

THE ANNUAL International Mime Festival begins for the 22nd time on Saturday. Running until Jan 22, the festival features award-winning performers from Spain, Russia, France, Belgium and the UK.

The likes of Theatre de Complicite and Shunt will be performing in the Festival Hall, Battersea Arts Centre, the ICA and other venues. Physical theatre, clowning, and erotic trapeze acts are amongst the smorgasboard of skills on display.

Highlights last year included a 180 second silent film, and this year's programme boasts an equally exciting collection of acts. Showcasing circus, cabaret and Lecoq techniques, the festival looks set to attract a mainstream audience
