| Intruders Scale Palace Walls
- Security review after tourists reach Charles' garden CHEEKY tourists have broken into the grounds of Prince Charles' London residence twice in a week, police have confirmed. The first incident occurred on New Year's Day when a French national climbed over the high wall that surrounds the gardens of St James' Palace; the second involved two Americans who also negotiated the Palace walls, this time last Thursday. All three intruders were spotted quickly and released by police after questioning. "We do not believe there was any attempt to break in," said a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police, referring to the palace itself. It is understood a review of royal security arrangements is now underway. |
