In Memory Of Kirsty MacColl
- Fans welcome to pay tribute to the late singer at memorial service

FANS of Kirsty MacColl are invited to pay their last respects at a memorial service for the singer, who died in a boating accident last month.

The service will take place at the 900 capacity church St Martin's In The Fields, near Trafalgar Square on January 20.

"Kirsty was well liked and respected throughout the industry so it will be easy to imagine there will be a big turnout," a spokesperson for the singer's management company said.

MacColl died on Dec 18 when a speedboat hit her as she was diving off the coast of Mexico. An admired vocalist, her most famous numbers include the 1987 hit with The Pogues, Fairytale Of New York, and the single There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis
