Pop Idol Reject Bags Record Deal
- Six-figure contract for failed TV show contestant

LOSER takes all. Or so it seems to be in the case of a failed Pop Idol contestant who has signed a six figure record deal.

Sarah Whatmore failed to make it through to the final ten on the show, which also featured favourite Rik Waller and Aaron Bailey.

But instead of preparing for months of moping, Sarah is looking forward to starting her pop career after being signed up to major label, RCA. The wannabe star will be managed by none other than former Spice Girls honcho Simon Fuller.

The Pop Idol loser gushed, "I'm thrilled to be working with Simon Fuller. It's a dream come true. I just want to work really hard and I hope I'm successful and the public enjoy my music."

Whatmore follows in the footsteps of other Pop Stars losers, who were picked up by Richard Branson's Virgin label and are known as Liberty.
