| Harry Lures Tourists on Potter Trail
- Child wizard helps Britain combat foot and mouth HARRY POTTER is to help the British tourist industry pick up after the foot-and-mouth crisis. The British Tourist Authority is to publish a Potter map of Britain. It will identify key places from the books as well as from the forthcoming film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. One such site will be the cloisters at Gloucester Cathedral, chosen to represent Hogwarts School in the film. "We believe Harry Potter can bring a lot of tourists to Britain," said BTA spokesperson Jo Leslie. "The film is probably going to be even bigger than the books and generate huge interest in Harry Potter around the world. We intend to capitalise on that." Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is slated for release in London cinemas on November 16. |
