EasyNet for EasyJet
- Cut-price airline goes for 100 per cent on-line sales operation

LOW-COST flight company EasyJet is to sell tickets solely via the internet.

EasyJet already takes more than 80 per cent of its bookings on-line. But such are the cost-savings compared to conventional methods of ticket sales that the company, run by effervescent boss Stelios Haji-Ioannou, is to switch over to the internet completely.

Haji-Ioannu also plans to float part of his company to fund the purchase of new planes, it was announced. EasyJet fly out of minor London airports Stansted and Luton to 18 European cities.
