Madonna Makes Music In London
- But the invite-only show will leave many fans disappointed

POP QUEEN Madonna will play her first UK gig in seven years at London's Brixton Academy on November 28.

But there will not be any tickets on sale to the general public as mother-of- two Maddy is to play to a select audience of guests and competition winners. Those lucky enough to be invited will be treated to cuts from her current album, Music, including the chart-topping title-track and forthcoming single Don't Tell Me.

"This is a chance to get my feet wet on stage again and to say thank-you to an intimate group of fans for all their support over the years," said the 42 year-old singer. Support will come from Texas and former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft. Prodigy guitarist Liam Howlett, signed to Madonna's Maverick label, will man the decks at the event.

Madonna, who has expressed a desire to spend more time in England, has just splashed out UKP7 million on a six-bedroom home in trendy Notting Hill.
