Bubbly Blow for Champagne Charlie
- Thieves steal six bottles from St James Palace

PRINCE CHARLES was said to be furious after the latest breach of royal security resulted in the theft of a box of champagne from St James Palace.

The box containing six bottles of Lanson champagne is reckoned to have been stolen by a member of staff as police have now ruled out a break in. The bubbly burglary is the latest in a long line of petty thefts that have dogged the royals over the last few years.

Infra-red spy cameras have already been installed by the Queen at Buckingham Palace and security experts now expect Charles to the do the same at St James, although his aides would not confirm anything. "This is a private matter," said a St James Palace spokesperson.
