- Prudential pulls float plan for its internet bank PRUDENTIAL looks set to postpone plans to float its fledgling internet bank, Egg. The Pru had hoped to issue the prospectus for the float this week. However fluctuating high-tech stocks have made it increasingly difficult to value the bank. The Prudential had originally planned to value Egg at between 1.5 - 2 billion UKP. "Markets are difficult and, of course, we are reviewing the situation on a daily basis" it said. |
