| Charles 'Suicidal' Over 'Scheming' Diana
- Aide's views revealed in new diaries SUICIDE was on the agenda for Prince Charles during his bitter marriage break-up from the late Diana, Princess of Wales, according to one of the future King's aides. "I would put him in the suicidal category," Lord Goodman, a close adviser to the Prince, is reported to have said. Goodman died six years ago but his comments on Charles and other Royals are now being reported in the published diaries of mutual friend, David Selbourne. Goodman thought Diana was "scheming", called the Prince's consort Camilla Parker-Bowles a "plain Englishwoman" and labelled Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York "very foolish." |
