Belgravia Home for Madonna
- Material girl buys six-bed dream house

POP QUEEN Madonna has plumped for a UKP10 million period London town house - just weeks after saying house prices were too high in the capital.

Mum-to-be Maddy recently spoke out about soaring house prices in London, saying, "I'm not going to buy yet. I'm waiting for a slump. It's disgusting."

However, the star's new pad, located in Belgravia - Britain's most expensive square mile - is not exactly a dump. The four-storey six-bedroom home - complete with fully equipped gym and 53ft drawing room - is a stone's throw away from posh Knightsbridge and near to director boy-friend Guy Ritchie's house.

Worth a cool UKP150 million, Maddy, unlike most Londoners, can afford to be choosy about her London abode. She originally bought a house in Chelsea at the cheaper price of UKP5 million but sold it after a month, preferring to rent in stylish Notting Hill.
