Hi-Tech Theme Park For Dome
- Nomura set to win bidding war

A HI-TECH amusement park will be installed in the Millennium Dome by next year, the government are set to announce today.

The scheme run by Japanese bank Nomura will be called Dome Europe and will mirror other hi-tech parks in Tokyo and San Francisco which have proved commerically succesful. The new style Dome is likely to be up and running by early next year.

Some of the exhibits already on show at the Dome will be kept on, but most will be replaced by a series of interactive video games and virtual reality installations, it is believed. Nomura are thought to have bid oevr UKP100 million for the Dome site, a similar figure to rival bidders Legacy who want to turn the Greenwich attraction into a hi-tech business park.
