Latest Diana Memorial Plan Revealed
- Fountain and parks walkway for Princess

THE LATEST ideas for a memorial to the late Diana, Princess of Wales have been announced.

The new plan is for a multi-million pound fountain and children's playground situated along a 1.7 million UKP path linking up several parks in central London. The parks to be connected by the environmentally sensitive - yet state of the art - walkway include Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, St James's Park and Green Park.

It is not clear which of the parks will be home to the fountain. The natural choice would be Kensington Gardens, the park which houses Diana's former London home, Kensington Palace. However, earlier plans for a memorial in the park were shouted down by angry local residents who feared an invasion of princess-pilgrims.
