It's Dometastic
- Public give the Millennium Dome a big thumbs up

THE MILLENNIUM DOME, Greenwich, has been warmly received by the first visitors to cross it's newly opened doors.

Following the mixed success of New Year Eve's Dome Party - the huge gathering was somewhat spoilt by the thousands of VIPs who were left locked outside (ooh, shame) - yesterday's official opening to the public went down a storm. Since the doors first opened to the public 45,000 curious visitors have caught the Dome's very own Millennium Bug.

"It's definitely worth the money and there's plenty to look at. It's mind-boggling" said Mark Sitchett from Reading. Some people were less happy with the queues of up to one and a half hours for the Dome's most popular exhibit; the Body Zone. "Everybody wants to see the Body Zone" said 15 year old Gemma Riley from Birmingham.

The Dome is now sold out for the next few days, but families wishing to visit during the remaining days of January may still buy tickets.
