Billy Blots Out Bad Language
- Award-winning Brit flick to be re-released with a U rating

HEARTWARMING Brit flick Billy Elliot is to undergo a language makeover in order to make it suitable viewing for young audiences.

The film, about a boy in a mining town who takes up ballet, is to be parted with its foul-mouthed content in time for its re-release during the half-term period next February.

Producers will edit out all 35 swear words so that the film, rated 15, can be released with a U certificate. The original version, with all its foul faculties intact, will be out on video next Easter.
