Outdoor Tour 2004

Local music promoters Backbeat Live are delighted to announce that the UK's number one musical star, Michael Ball will be performing in a special outdoor summer tour at four key locations across the UK, the first being Kent, then Yorkshire, Scotland and Wiltshire. Michael reprises his fabulous recent sell-out performance from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London with full orchestra and special guests from the current leading West End musicals.

Set in stunning venues across the UK this tour promises to be an amazing night of musical entertainment. Michael will be performing hand-picked songs from all the great shows Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Evita, West Side Story, Aspects of Love and many others.

Directed by award winning composer and conductor Callum McLeod, this unique tour will feature special guests from current West End Musicals (to be announced), full band and the strings of the British Philharmonic Orchestra lead by Perry Montague-Mason. Fabulous up and coming jazz artists, Gwyneth Herbert, recently signed by Universal Records will support these picnic-style concerts.
