We Say: Drawing 3,500 guests a week, The Comedy Store is London's most popular laugh spot. Tickets for this West End favourite are always sure to draw a chuckle.
The comedy club switches its sense of humour nightly. Tuesdays are all about news-based jokes, with the six-member Cutting Edge stand-up team delivering gags about the week's current events. Expect a sharp show and even a few joke competitions. Wednesdays and Sundays bring Whose Line Is It Anyway-style improv, with The Comedy Store Players creating hilarious sketches and comic dramas right on the spot.
The Best in Stand Up runs Thursday to Saturday and draws some of the best laugh-makers from around the world. The last Monday of each month (except in December) is King Gong night - a comedy showcase just for new acts. If you're feeling exceptionally funny, take the stage. Alexei Sayle got his start at The Comedy Store, so you never know what luck a few good jokes could bring.
