Description: My client, a global leading publishing company, with strongholds in various markets acorss the world are now looking for a buying manager, who is fluent in French to settling into a team to work along side a head buyer and manage to junior buyers. It is a very niche market and it would suit someone from a fast paced background, possibly retail or publishing. Person Specification: Candidates must have relevant skills and experience to be considered for this job. Priority will be given to candidates possessing some or all of the following:- Qualifications/Experience: Extensive buying experience Must have worked in a highly-pressurised environment, ideally in the publishing or retail sector. Must have a good standard of education (A-level or above) and ideally a relevant qualification e.g. CIPS Managerial or Supervisory experience essential. Skills (essential): French-speaking (ideally fluent) Highly computer literate Strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify and contribute to improvements in cost effectiveness and performance. Ability to working as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
