We are looking to recruit a qualified Animal Technician to work a temporary.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience a career in animal technology and serve the needs of the local medical and research community.
Applicants must have a recognised animal care qualification, experience of caring for animals and be committed to their welfare. Previous experience working with animals in a laboratory environment preferred.
You will be caring for rodents and your duties will include cage cleaning and changing bedding, feeding, watering, health checking and general animal husbandry.
You must be well organised, work well within a team or on your own and be able to prioritise your workload.
The successful candidate will perform a vital role in the care and welfare of common laboratory species.
