Description: Electronic Assembly Technicians x 4 - East London, London Assembly Technicians x 4 - fault finding to component level - electronic components - wiring skills developed in a manual assembly environment - ability to read mechanical assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and circuit diagrams preferred - based East London - temporary contract of 6 months or more - salary c£7.50 to £9 per hour depending on skills and experience We are urgently looking for highly skilled, temporary/contract staff to join a friendly team manufacturing sorting machines in a brand new manufacturing facility located close to Gallions Reach DLR station. All candidates for the position of Assembly Technician should have had experience of fault finding to component level on electronic components and be able to use a variety of hand tools Also required is experience of rectifying electronic faults and adjusting and aligning mechanical assemblies Knowledge of Windows is essential and the ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and wiring and circuit diagrams an advantage as are supervisory skills Experience of prototype manufacture would be desirable The Electronic Assembly Technician should be capable of producing written reports and communicating with staff at all levels The role will involve assembling electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies using a variety of hand tools and you should also be prepared to carry out a variety of tasks including assembling of sub assemblies and assembling the various stages of machine build. Good vision is required and candidates should not be colour deficient or incapable of lifting assemblies.
