Are you an experienced teacher who has had some dealing with low ability students and perhaps SEN? Would you like to work in small groups helping to push students onto the next level through targeted activities and focused, independent learning?

This large modern comprehensive last year achieved its first ever Outstanding at Ofsted. The school was highlighted as making excellent progress with its high numbers of EAL pupils (78%) and has excellent methods in place for achieving this including the use of a nurture teacher.
The school is looking for a committed teacher who has had experience raising attainment with low achievers in the key areas of numeracy and literacy. These students are all in Key stage 3 and have a level of ability that you would find at primary level. The post will require someone with a patient understanding nature that is able to set clear goals and targets for these students.
The post is open to applications from all teachers with strong teaching experience in either primary or secondary and is offered on a long term or permanent basis.
Salary will be on experience and a TLR or SEN points may be available.
