Are you a Romanian speaker with excellent communication skills? ***Secondary Teaching Assistant position...!! ***Working specially with EAL pupils ***Working 1:1 and with small groups ***MUST be a Romanian speaker...!! ***Large North London Secondary School ***Mixed comprehensive -diverse pupil catchment ***Jubilee Line access - zone 5 ***September start - Agency Contract ***Earn £60 per day - Academic Year My client is a large mixed and multi cultural state school located in North London, part of the Borough of Barnet. Situated on the outskirts of London, the nearest station to the school is on the jubilee line. The school is situated on a large, modern site with state of the art facilities and has a positive buzz and culture instilled. The pupil catchment is very diverse, from a range of ethnic and socio economic backgrounds, which results in above national average in EAL and SEN pupils as well as those pupils on free school meals. The leadership team are looking to appoint a teaching assistant this September for a 1 year post supporting EAL pupils on a 1:1 and small group capacity. You will be working full time and supporting Romanian pupils. Because of this applicants will need the following skills and attributes: - Educated up to degree level - Confident & personable - MUST be a Romanian speaker - Excellent written & spoken English required - Previous school based experience ideal - Good work ethic - Interest & focus on education You will be working full time and supporting pupils in and out of class across a range of subjects. Because of the versatility required for this post, a good academic record and education up to degree level is required. Clear spoken and written English is required in order to aid pupils in their learning and development.
