We Shall Overcome (Drommen) (12A)

Thirteen-year-old Frits lives with his clinically depressed father Peder and mother Stine on a farm in ’60s Denmark. When the local school’s headmaster Mr Lundum-Svenson bullies Frits so badly he requires medical assistance, the young man embarks on a campaign for justice, supported by music teacher Mr Svale, who seems to be the only member of staff willing to speak out against the maltreatment.
