Tin (12A)

In the winter of 1890, Mrs Dawson and her troupe of actors arrive in a small cliffside town to perform Beethoven’s opera Fidelio. The performers are sucked into the day-to-day routines of the residents and Mrs Dawson is misled into investing in the local tin mine, which is on the verge of closure. The townsfolk do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of their close-knit community but when new treasures are unexpectedly discovered in the mine, battle lines are drawn.
