Computer graphics designer Michel has been fascinated by airplanes since he was young until the day he spies a canoe that looks exactly like a flying machine. He is smitten and secretly buys a canoe without the knowledge of his wife Rachelle, who has allowed him to fill their home with models and images of aircraft. Michel dreams of long, relaxing days with his new purchase so he embarks on a river trip and savours the company of strangers at a waterside cafe. The adventure fires Michel’s lust for life.
