Army veteran John hopes to leave the Mississippi backwater he calls home with his wife Rosie. Unfortunately, the couple don’t have enough money to finance the move so Josh reluctantly runs errands for his uncle Neil. While John is away from home, Rosie craves attention and excitement, and she begins to spy on their socially awkward neighbour, Troy. Staring through her telescope one day at the house next door, Rosie becomes an unsuspecting witness and she subsequently vanishes.
