British artillery officer Colonel Percy Fawcett has been “rather unfortunate in his choice of ancestors”. Sir George Goldie, president of the Royal Geographical Society, offers Percy a chance at redemption by mapping uncharted territory in Bolivia with the help of local tribesmen.
