Socially awkward mathematician Alan Turing arrives at Bletchley Park where Commander Denniston presides over a group of the country’s keenest minds in the hope that one of them can break the Enigma code. Turing ploughs his own furrow and raises eyebrows by recruiting Joan Clarke to the team.
