It has become legal for private medical firms to conduct assisted suicides and Malison McCourt takes up a position, helping the elderly and terminally ill to end their lives with dignity. She is partnered with veteran worker Olivia for one job at a remote mansion. They are obliged to stay at the property for a few days and the owner’s manservant Edgar tends to their needs. Very quickly, Malison and Olivia sense that something is amiss in the household.
