The Hallow (15)

British conservationist Adam travels around the remote Irish countryside, looking for sick trees. He settles in a new community with his wife Claire and their newborn, and immediately clashes with the locals including Colm and the Garda. They strongly advise Adam to stay out of the woods because the trees are home to dark fairies, which do not react kindly to intruders. Adam dismisses the folk stories and proceeds with his work. He soon realises that Colm was not joking.
