Delphine is poised to go on a Greek holiday with a gal pal until her travelling companion dumps her to venture abroad with a boyfriend instead. Nervous about the prospect of holidaying alone, Delphine considers her options. A brief sojourn to the Alps eventually leads to a friend’s apartment in Biarritz where Delphine learns about a rare meteorological phenomenon chronicled by Jules Verne in his novel Le Rayon Vert.
