The Bachelors (15)

Doting husband Bill Palet focuses on his wife Jeanie and teenage son Wes. When Jeanie loses her battle with terminal illness, Bill uproots his grief-stricken boy from San Francisco to Los Angeles, where they settle into a new home and Bill takes up a position at an all-boys preparatory school. The widower is numbed by his loss and a local psychiatrist prescribes anti-depressants. Meanwhile, Wes nervously acclimatises to a new school by making new friends.
