David lives in London, where he meets and falls giddily in love with a sexy Spanish woman called Marisa. Their romance burns white-hot and David decides to quit his job and leave behind the home comforts of Britain for the sunnier climes of Madrid. No sooner has he arrived than Marisa dumps him and poor David is cast adrift in a country where he doesn’t fluently speak the language or understand the customs.
