City girl Rumpoey and country boy Dum meet as students in Bangkok, nine years after they first formed a tender childhood friendship. It is an unhappy reunion: Dum’s father is dying, having been attacked by a bandit jealous of the father’s position as village chief. Determined to avenge his parent’s memory, Dum joins a local gang and sets out to track down the bandit killer.
