A documentary chronicling the true story of a serial killer dubbed The Grim Sleeper, who terrorised women in the South Central area of Los Angeles for 25 years. Lonnie Franklin Jr was arrested for the crimes in 2010 but continues to plead his innocence. The film digs deep into the background of the case and the conduct of police, who were investigating the slaughter of prostitutes and drug addicts in one of the city’s most impoverished communities.
