Suzanne (12A)

Suzanne grows up with her elder sister Maria and widowed father Nicolas. As she is about to leave secondary school, Suzanne falls pregnant and she gives birth to a son. Years pass and Suzanne raises her child alone without any contact with the father. She works at the trucking firm that employs her old man and unexpectedly falls in love with a small-time gangster called Julien. Their romance blossoms but Julien’s larcenous activities eventually compel him to leave the Languedoc.
