Michelle Robinson finally agrees to a date with Harvard law student Barack Obama, who is working at her firm for the summer. The focus of their evening is a residents’ meeting to address problems in the community. Before they join this animated debate, Barack and Michelle get to know each other during a visit to an art gallery then share sandwiches in the park. Later, they watch Spike Lee’s seminal film Do The Right Thing and enjoy ice cream as their date comes to its happy conclusion.
