Sharkwater (PG)

Ever since Steven Spielberg made Jaws, the shark has been demonized as a man-eating scourge of the open water. This documentary attempts to discover the truth about these misunderstood creatures in his documentary, joining forces with activist Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society to expose the poachers who earns millions of pounds by slaughtering sharks for their fins. Four years in the making, Sharkwater incorporates footage taken in 14 different countries, revealing the horrific plight of the majestic creatures, which could be extinct in a matter of years.
