The city of Wroclaw is stunned by a series of murders perpetrated by a shadowy mastermind at 6pm each evening. Officers Helena Rus and Bronson are assigned to the investigation, which becomes deeply personal when Bronson is seriously injured in pursuit of the suspect. Helena vows to bring the murderer to justice by any means necessary and she is aided by Central Bureau Of Investigation profiler Iwona Bogacka, who links the killings to the murky history of 18th-century Wroclaw.
