Captured over the course of 11 years with unprecedented access to the subject, the documentary juxtaposes the young, impassioned activist and rocker of the ’60s and ’70s with the introspective woman of the ’90s, wrestling with the death of her husband and her status as the so-called “godmother of punk”.
