On the morning of April 15, 2013, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan head into the centre of Boston with homemade bombs concealed in their rucksacks. They move into the thick crowds of spectators for the marathon, drop their bags and move to safety before detonating the devices near the finish line. Hundreds of people are injured in the blasts and FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers races to the scene to take charge of the investigation.
