Musician and composer Nick Cave has nurtured a cult following as frontman and leader of The Bad Seeds. On September 9, 2016, the band releases the eagerly awaited 16th studio album, Skeleton Tree. To coincide with this event, this documentary delves into the tragic history of the writing and recording of the album. Shot in black-and-white and colour in both 3D and 2D, the film juxtaposes interviews and behind-the-scenes footage with the Bad Seeds’ performances of the new album.
