Ageing patriarch Francisco owns many of the properties on his street in Recife but he is powerless to stop a private security firm from touting its business to the locals. Married mother-of-two Bia is sick and tired of the barking of her neighbour’s dog and she assuages the pain by smoking pot. Meanwhile, Francisco’s son Joao wakes to discover someone has broken into the car of his girlfriend. His cousin Dinho is the likely suspect but Joao needs proof.
